How it works
The device sends an optical signal through the skin of the measuring finger and determines the haemoglobin value by reflectance spectroscopy – non-invasively, without a finger prick, in 40 to 45 seconds.

No finger prick, not a drop of blood – this reduces the burden on donors and eliminates the risk of infection from an open wound during screening. The devices are low-maintenance and easy to operate; your staff are ready to work after a short briefing.
At least as important: the process is considerably simpler. No cuvettes to order, book in, distribute to sites, release by batch or dispose of as biological waste. Release is via a code, the device measures, the result is there – done. Fewer steps, fewer interfaces, lower complexity costs.
